This layout featured promotional and screen caps from the music video Call Me When Your Sober' by
Evanescence. Even though this layout was just a wallpaper stuck on a black
background, so it easily stuck out, but I was actually quite proud with it as I
learned how to create different kinds of layouts on FrontPage. I like the
lighting that I used on the the wallpaper and the tone that I used, as
originally I was going to use another wallpaper as my layout, but because I
loved the Evanescence wallpaper so much, I just had to use it

This layout featured the band Ringside, using
photos from a photo shoot for the MTV flipbook. I like how the pictures for the
layout were blended together, even though simply. The font used in the layout
and throughout the site (One Way) suited the colours featured in the photos in
the layout, especially when a desired transparency level was found. One thing
about the font used what that it didn't seem to differentiate between capitals
and lower case letters when used as part of the main site, but for the layout I
think looks fine. Overall I think the layout looks good for how simple it is,
but simple - good I think is better than difficult - hard.....if that makes any
sense to you

This layout featured Brian
Krause in a promotional picture (my favourite promotional picture of Brian out
of all his works) in his film 'The Mission'. In this version, the layout is
organised into tables, so it is more presentable and easier to update that the
previous layout that used no tables, which I had to spend ages trying to
centralise text in the layout. I've gone for the grey colour again, but I love
using dark colours/monotone for some unknown reason, so a lot of layouts will
follow this pattern. One thing I hate about this layout is that the header and
the tables in the layout are separate, so in a sense I prefer the design of
Version 2.0, so I hope to combine the design of this version with the tables of
Version 3.0, for the next layout. This is also the first layout to have a splash
page as well.

The layout features Promotional
photos from the TV show 'Everwood' and two of the characters - Amy and
Ephram. The tables and header combined and so no longer separate!! :)
Well, they are, you just can't see it, lol. Gone for the dark look again,
but have recently moved into a brighter phase so maybe the next layout
will be bright, just in time for Christmas!!

Its bright. Its white. And it features Calvin Goldspink from the bands S Club Juniors/S Club 8/ I Dream. The picture is from a magazine photo shoot
at the time when he was in the group I Dream. Just in time for Christmas.
Changed the navigation (again) but I feel that it makes the site easier to
get around than in previous layouts. Still have the splash page, with the
little warning about that on other browsers the layout may look wonky. The
sidebar has been ordered differently from the previous layout and has the
added extra of having the links to my other sites that I own. This layout
was up longer than most, as I was away on holiday for 2 weeks and came
back to a mountain of University work, but also - changing layouts can
take up a bit of your time, lol.

Gone back to the dark theme this time with Eliza Dushku, best known for
her roles in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Tru Calling.' Also, this is
the first layout on the site that features a female - had to come around
eventually. I liked this 'dark' layout as it wasn't just the simply
black/white/grey...a lot of it is made up of dark red, which I feel has
more of an impact. Didn't change much of the layout presentation, as last
time so it isn't that noticeable. First layout using Div layers.

Well, I have to say...this layout was colourful and I love it! Featuring
the actor Nicholas Hoult, who is best known for his roles in 'About A Boy'
and most recently 'Skins' - The reason behind the layout as I was obsessed
with the show at the time. With this layout, I separated the wallpapers
into different sections and added a new section of the site which hosts
both banners and colourisations. Like I said at the beginning, I love this
layout due to the different colours that are in it, which was inspired
from the wallpaper I made, which you can see as the header. Its outside of
my comfort zone of using dark colours, so it took me a while to decide as
to whether to put it up or not but I thought I would take the plunge and
I'm glad I did so :)

"Something Special" featuring Sarah Michelle Gellar, and I LOVE the
colours of the texture (self-made) that I used, and I'm liking the brushwork as
I'm usually never that good at using brushes. And yes, back to the black and
white theme, but not entirely :)

"Don't Cry For Me" featuring Amy Lee from the band Evanescence.
One of those where I saw the images and knew I had to use them. The 'texture' is
actually a random screencap from an episode of Charmed believe it or not and the
colours I absolutely love! Also down the left hand side are the lyrics to
the song "Call Me When Your Sober" which is also where the name of the
layout also originates from.

Comments:
"Lost In Paradise" features the Season 2 cast of the TV show
LOST. As this was the last season I saw as the show moved to a TV channel
I don't have, I thought I would dedicate a layout to it. Very simple and
uses just one texture, however this is the first layout to use image
mapping :) So proud. The layout features lyrics from the Portishead song
"Numb" which played in the Channel 4 Lost Season1 promos in the UK.

"Mysterious" features the actor Chad Michael Murray who is best
known for his roles in Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill. Different layout style
than in previous layouts but always nice to try something new - just like the
colours. Its summer (although, the weather seems otherwise) and its about time I
had another non-dark layout as you know I love the dark colours, lol but can't
keep in the dark forever, so here we are - something to brighten up the day.

Comments:
"Love Hurts" features Josh Henderson, who is most known for his role in the hit
show "Desperate Housewives." The lyrics are from a song by a "Awoken". Back to
the dark theme again, but its a lot more sinister than usual - Blood splats are
everywhere - Never intended to beat Josh Henderson up but that's the creative
process for you: It can take you in any direction. Came out very well, I think
:)

"Miss Independent" features Kelly Clarkson, who is most known for her
singing talents and winning the first (and best) American Idol. The lyrics
featured on the layout are from the song of the same name at the layout title
sung by Kelly Clarkson, herself. Managed to use a stock image in this layout,
that I had wanted to use in a piece of art for absolutely ages :)

"Sylar" features the bad guy you love to hate - Sylar from Heroes. Dark again
but with very bold and bright colours. Comes from a wallpaper once again but I
love the stock images and lightening I used in the piece. Sylar in a straight
jacket - Isn't going to remain that way for long, lol
